We would like to invite you and your families to join the event for this year's Mid-Autumn Festival. We will give total of 300 mooncakes, 300 pomelo and tea to 300 senior citizens aged 65 or above. We will also have Chinese Opera performances at the Community Hall,

Address: 大埔曉運路10號(運頭塘商場對面) , 由大埔墟火車站步行前往中心約需15分鐘。

Run-down of the event:

2:00 pm : Offloading the mooncakes and pomelos from the truck on site
2:10 – 2:50 pm: Un-boxing and packing mooncakes, pomelos and tea into recyclable bags. Community Hall’s sitting arrangement
2:50 - 3:00 pm: Entry of the elderly
3:10 - 3:40 pm: Introduction of DTFU by event organizers, speech by Tai Po District Council Member Mr. Ken YU C.W., group photos, and games with elderly if time allows.
3:45 - 5:45 pm: Chinese Opera performance (1.十八相送 2.嫦娥 3.拉郎配之搶笛 4. 帝女花之香夭)
5:45 – 6:15 pm: Distribution of DTFU gift bags to the elderly on their way out and wrap up.
